Svend Erik Vinding ,  73 years old

I started the site in 2007.

I am a, now retired, painter, born in 1953.
I decided to start this site in 2007, because I had to have something to spend my time with when I retired from work.

Little did I know that it would take me 10 years to gather, arrange and type data into my database. At the same time, I also wanted to download and prepare images of the riders.

Then I got lucky. A few of my visitors apparently decided to help me, by sending data, images and corrections.

For that, I am greatful.

Freddy has been very helpful regarding data concerning summits.
Mark Holderbeke,  68 years old

Provider of data and images.

I am (of course) passionated by cycling. As an active cycling tourist in the region of the Flemish Ardennes, I know the most beautiful cycling roads in Flanders by heart.

Next to a full-time job and active cycling, I spend my time to search cyclists who had been killed in the First Wolrd War. At this moment there has been retrieved almost 900 names of killed cylcists, not only the winners of the Grand Tours (Petit-Breton, Lapize, Faber and Oriani), but also Olympic champions, world an national champions and a lot of "lessers Gods" which has been killed during the massacre of the First World War.

Fabrice Courdier,  59 years old

Provider of data and images for the bonus department.

I’m a Postman. I live in Haute-Saône like Thibaut Pinot. I am 35 km from the Planche des Belles Filles that I climb by bike from time to time.

I like cyclism and it's history, especially that of the Tour. I have a large amount of documentation about cyclism and Tour.

Bien amicalement,
Fabrice
